This article deals with the importance of art as an integral formation of engineering students, acquiring knowledge about the visual, the great cultural diversity, as well as recognizing the different cultural objects and their levels of study, the common elements in the various art systems in everyday life, through the Fundamental Learning Appreciation to the Arts Unit. This reinforces the national and international trend in education, incorporating the development of general skills in all undergraduate programs offered by the UANL.
