Optimizing assembly lines is a central challenge for companies committed to efficiency and operational excellence.
This project seeks to address the problem of the productive capacity of the “Single Speed” line of a Domestic Motor Company, as well as to identify the problems that limit the current production capacity of the line; The search for solutions not only has the purpose of increasing production figures, but also of improving the quality of the final product and reducing downtime.
By applying the methodology proposed within this article, the results obtained reveal an increase in production capacity and a reduction of more than 10% in cycle times. Increasing the demand for domestic engines and meeting the demand that the industrial department requests.
