Verification of fulfillment of functional requirements in agile development based on the ISO/IEC/IEEE/29119 standard

This research was carried out in order to implement a quality standard in the testing process for the MDXP Hybrid Agile Methodology (Beta Version). To carry out this implementation, different norms, standards and quality rules were studied to select the most appropriate one, resulting in the application of the ISO/IEC/IEEE 29119 software testing standard and the ISO/IEC 25010 Software quality standard for development of functional requirements verification instruments and acceptance tests. The requirements verification project emanates from the research “Evaluation of the MDXP Hybrid Agile Methodology (Beta Version) in compliance with the software requirements, applied during the construction of the Comprehensive System of the Oil Club Version 2 (SICAPV2)”, since that to verify compliance with the requirements, it was necessary to subject the system to a process of function testing and acceptance by the client that would ensure reliable results and that, in turn, a proposal for verification of requirements supported by a standard would be obtained. quality to be included as part of the MDXP Agile Methodology, which is in a testing process, and in this particular case, it was being tested during the development of the Petroleum Club Comprehensive System (SICP), for the administrative area of the company Club Petrolero, A.C.
