Abstract

This research was carried out in a Mexican oil company, which is ISO9001: 2015 certified. In order to access foreign markets, it is necessary to assess the cost-benefit of obtaining the API-Q2 certification, which is a specific quality standard for the oil industry. When performing the analysis of the structural elements of both standards, their equivalence was determined
and the feasibility to apply for the API-Q2 certification was determined.
