Within this company, the process of producing micro-wire welding is carried out, this same is arduous in constant over carrying production, since in each of the segments of this has different negative points that makes us have setbacks, therefore it is have delays to get the final product ready. This project develops an alternative, which will favor reducing downtime, which is the main cause of unemployment in our process, and also documentation of working instructions to validate how to carry out the management of the segments of Work.
We used quality tools, and with them they defined that the main cause of downtime was the reel change activity, which affects about 26.5% of our production process, which is sought to reduce this percentage gradually by up to 5% , and for this purpose the practice of best change of reel will be carried out, because the line was recently started and there is no good discipline in this segment of work by employees, it is for this reason that the documentation of the said management of this activity, through certification and achieve the goal. The project helps us to promote the expected discipline in the management of each of the workstations, carried
out by the employee and that the relevance of our certification can determine the reduction of the activity of change of reel.
