Implementation of QI´s (quality inspections) for a correct inspection of a product through a technological tool.

This article shows the strategy carried out to reduce scrap levels in the Chrysler ship at the Metalsa plant, located in Apodaca, Nuevo León, Mexico. The research carried out used the scientific method and the methodology that was used to obtain the analysis data was through the Quality Inspections (QI'S) method, a system that allows the organization's staff to detect possible defects during the process of creating the product, part, or material, through a technological tool. The type of research used was qualitative, to obtain a measurement during and after the implementation of the QI’S. These results allowed to know the problem of the department and in turn the improvement in the process. In conclusion, it is shown as a result that the methodology applied impacts positively on the key performance indicators of the department.
