This article seeks to analyze the feasibility of using the MUSIC method for application in highspeed protection relays, using it to estimate the frequencies of the main signals in a power signal, with various cases of analysis with different variables in order to determine the limits of the method were carried out. The impact that each variable has on the obtained results was verified.
